Question by no name: Can someone give be information as to how to install a 1200 series lexmark printer to a computer with vista?
I downloaded software and it wont download “lexmark all in one” will only download “lexmark solutions” and “uninstall” even the lexmark website/customer service cannot help me. Its a new printer never used and im about to return it.. why the hell do theese companies cant make compatible software for printers for the new microsoft visa software? someone please help!

I had the exact same problem with my Lexmark 1270 and Vista. I had to download the new driver from the site and install that (after you have already uninstalled previous tries and restarted your computer). Also, they have a patch for the clicking noise your scanner makes, if you are having that problem. If you have already tried that, then try it again, but you may be out of luck.

Also, if its not too late, I would strongly reccommend you exchange the printer. Any color printing mine has done has been terrible quality, and it’s quite slow. Just my suggestion.
