Try some WD-40… Hope it works….=)
Hmmm …you may have ’set’ the stain now, but try methylated spirits, it’s brilliant for removing ink.
good luck
try hairspray
try soap and water as I know when you wet your printed sheet of paper the ink runs all over the place
Try insect repellant like Aeroguard. I’ve used it to remove graffitti and it worked great.
You have what is known as dye transfer. You need a strong detergent cleaner like Maxi Cleaner to try to remove this. The dye will have gone into the finish on the leather and the deeper it has gone the harder it will be to remove.
You may already have removed some finish by using acetone and if this has not removed the dye transfer then the only way to resolve the problem will be to have it recoloured.
A good leather technician will have the proper products to do this and he may have to replace finish and pigment so it is best left to him/her to do.
A good leather protector will inhibit this kind of thing happening again.
