How do you get inkjet refill ink out of carpet?

   If you used a carpet cleaner that had water in it you may have already set the stain. Ink is encapsulated. When you add water you release it. We use a solvent to remove ink from fabric. It keeps the ink encapsulated. Look in the phone book for a carpet cleaning supply store. Go there and buy ink remover. You need a wet dry vac. Pour the ink remover on the ink stain and hold the nozzle so it sucks up the ink from the carpet. It should be really quick. Unless you set the stain. This should do the trick. If the stain is set, you can replace a scrap carpet piece to the old stained carpet. I would recommend a professional to do this.

   I would try hair spray. Saturate carpet at gently sponge up over and over until it’s gone If that dosen’t work, I’d try Energene spot remover sold at any grocer or drug or super store.
