How do I prevent printer ink going dry?

One of my printers is not used a lot and the printer cartridges dry out. Since the ink is very expensive, how can I prevent this from happening?

turn your printer on from time to time when not in use.. so the ink in the cartridge will be shaked..usually printer inks is a fast drying ink. so when not used for sometime mostly it dries up before you can use it.. or manually give it a shake every morning . hehe
There are special ink cartridge storage boxes that often come with new printers. They are not ideal but it is much better than leaving it inside the printer to dry out. Maybe your computer supply store has one.
make sure you store your printer away from windows where glass meeting heat can destroy alot of stuff and store in a cool chill place. also if you don’t use it very much try to shake it around every so often to rotate it.
